About me:
51 year young Australian woman, Not after romance (I have enough! LOL) I don't have any money to give out (I spent it all :-) I'm in the Law field so scams aren't going to thrill me :-) I love to travel & I have travelled extensively throughout the Asia Pacific, Canada, US. I don’t like ‘organised’ travel but adventure travel! I travel overseas or within Australia about twice a year now. I love the sea. I SCUBA, snorkel, swim, surf and just simply enjoy being there. I love islands as well and the more remote the better I feel. (Off to Niue soon!) I'm serious collector of sea shells which is called ‘conchology’. I enjoy collecting antiques and antiquities (ancient objects). Though I work in a high-profile stressful job, I also study part time. I am studying archaeology. When I retire at 55 or so I intend to study full time. I have a passion for reading. My favourite subjects are mostly non fiction: science, archaeology and medieval history. I also research my families history. I do art as a pleasurable pastime because when I travel I also keep a journal of the things I have seem. It also matches nicely with archaeology. My drawing skills I can use in the study. I love art journaling and mail art. I cook, walk, hike, go camping, and being with my grandchildren and lots of other things. I love to write about anything as I am very liberal minded and can converse on many subjects. I am beautifully tattooed as I am woman and damn me, I ROAR LOL. I can either type or handwrite my letters as the mood takes me and sometimes my letters are long. I send postcards from my travels. I don't forget my friends :-) All I would ask is can I please have letters that are literate as a minimum,.All into archaeology and history are ALWAYS welcome!
