- Retired man seeking lady pen-pal for communication and good company. I am a fairly quiet person, thoughtful, and am vegetarian. Have travelled a lot when younger and may like to do some more, but in a more easy-going manner. Prefer a simple healthy lifestyle and am more "bookish" than the outgoing sports type. My previous employment was mainly with books and texts in a large reference library. I enjoy a good quality coffee and good conversation, and also some quiet and alone reflection time. I enjoy reading philosophy and may be said to be a spiritual seeker (although labels never fit properly). On the worldly side - still looking for the perfect Lazy Portfolio.
I live alone in my own place (a little north-west of Melbourne) and have children who don't live with me.
Hope to talk to a woman who has empathy with these ideas and ideals and I'd like to meet if we get along, which could be ongoing.
If you don't live in Australia (or NZ) and don't intend to visit there's probably not a good reason to contact me as I'd like to eventually meet the person I correspond with, but don't want to travel overseas to do so at present.
