- Born in Singapore, raised in & hold citizenship of indonesia, went to the uk at age 13 for school and been there for the most part since (have been in 3 different cities). I speak indonesian, english and rusty french (lol) as well as understand bits of spanish and mandarin and cantonese (i'd classify my understanding of these languages as 'poor'). I'm interested in way too many things to tell. I've travelled quite a bit. I love airports. I'm about to get back into martial arts. I sing, play some drums and a little piano. I can cook quite a bit though what I'd really like to learn is baking. I used to draw a little... basically I'm a Jane of all trades. I'm a law major at university.. I used to do sociology and media before that. I grew up with american media and tv. I love anthropology, epistemology, afrofuturism, film scores, east asian hiphop, korean court and folk music, south east asian food, urban culture, economics, amongst a bunch of other things. I'm curious about scandinavian and irish folklore, hungarian culture, danish language, early mandarin/taiwanese music, indian independent & early cinema, african literature, sociology of childhood etcetc & anything anyone on here wishes to share about their life and trade!
I hope to patch up my french (laughing to myself as im saying this) and perhaps gain that ever elusive fluency in mandarin which ive learnt in 3 very short stints in my life. Being more articulate in indonesian wouldnt hurt too, since i primarily think and dream in english (-the switchover happened when i was about 11)
