- I am 68 and I am looking for German pen pals who are keen to exchange emails in English and German. I am hoping to find pen pals in my age group who are keen to develop a long term friendship and are happy to write maybe once or twice per month. My German is roughly at the C1 level, so quite advanced but nowhere near fluent,
My wife and I are retired and we have many hobbies and interests. I love to practice my German and learn about Germany. In addition I play chess and Bridge, watch a lot of football and read a lot of books. I have also recently started to learn to draw which I find fascinating. I am also very interested in history and current affairs.
