Hi! I am widely travelled, having spent many years as an expat, accompanying both my father and subsequently my ex-husband, to several overseas Postings. Favourite places: Sofia, Bulgaria and Colorado, USA! I love the Great Outdoors and am never happier than when hiking over hills, striding along the beach, skiing over mountains, sailing/canoeing in the sea or just pottering in the garden. Whilst happy, now, to be UK-based and fortunate enough to live in a particularly beautiful part of it, I am always fascinated to hear about life in countries I have not visited, and other cultures. Oh, and I love dogs; I have a very dear, very soppy Great Dane!
