Married 65-year old with 1 immaculate Scottish Terrier as pet. An embarassment of hobbies including (but not limited to) reading, films, history (particularly classical), astronomy, philately, occasionally gardening (comes and goes - related to back-pain!), cooking (same as gardening), radio -particularly BBC Radio4. Ex- Air Traffic Controller (for 25+ years), then Aviation Safety Regulator (15 years) mostly in a European context. Motivated in life by near insatiable curiosity - had I been a cat - I would be long dead! Like to contact interesting people - male or female - with an interesting tale to tell and a spontaneous pleasure in life - oh yes - and must enjoy having a bit of a laugh - serious discussions allowed but humour strongly encouraged.
