I live in Kaohsiung (高雄)City, southern Taiwan. It was called Takao during the Japan-ruled period. I can speak Mandarin, Taiwanese, English and a little Japanese. The last I am taking the time to learn. I have been to Japan for two times. Of course I will take a trip to Japan again, whose beautiful scenery always attracts many Taiwanese and me. Speaking Japanese fluently is always my goal. I like classical music, Japanese folk songs, music home and abroad. I can play the harmonica. I also like reading. I have retired for over 5 years from a university of technology. I am at 70. I hope to make friends with retired Japanese male or female teachers around my age with a view to exchanging ideas and thoughts.
