- I'm a 41 year old female and I enjoy doing a lot of creative things. The reason I want a penpal is for the simple fact that I enjoy writing snail-mail. I gave up writing letters when all my friends would either email or call me back, and not giving me the same gratification of opening up a handwritten (or typed) letter. I want a pen pal that is willing to write me back via snail-mail. I just love getting something other than bills and junk in the mail. Other creative things I enjoy are making my own envelopes, doing my own nails, and mixing my own ink for fountain pens. There are other things, but those are probably my top 3.
