- American father of 2 looking for a penpal from Japan. Possibly another parent who might like to get their child into having a Penpal as well. Also someone who would like to send packages through snail mail in the future (snacks, gifts, etc). I would love to get to know you and maybe help with the english language. I'm also very interested in chatting with non-native Japanese people living in Japan. Eh that doesn't sound right but I'm gonna leave it. ;)
I am very interested in learning more about Japan, from culture to food. Maybe even a little bit of the language. My daughter and I fell in love with Japan last fall when we visited Tokyo for a week. We loved visiting the shrines and having snacks from the Konbini's. However there is so much more to Japan than that and I want to learn more.
About me: I'm a father of two girls, married for 17 years to my high school sweetheart, and work in the civil engineering field. In the spring and summer months you can find me on the softball field with my girls coaching their teams. In the fall and winter I like to stay indoors and enjoy actvities like building Gunpla and model car kits, and tinkering with my Nano Reef. I also enjoy riding my bike, golfing, cooking/grilling, watching auto racing, and listening to music.
