Hope the new 🌍 normal finds all you doing well. 2020 has been a huge nightmare and what we used to know as normal is no more.
2021 is closing in on all of us and I for 1 have gone more than a little stir crazy. I made the decision to actually find my click. It's not the quantity that counts here but the quality. My name is Carolyn. I'm a 41 year old woman that's looking for some friends. I have lived in the country the last 8 years in the state of Washington. I still don't know anyone around here other than family so I'm looking to extend an olive branch and meet new people. I am a freelancer/Self published Author and Genealogist who just decided to take a walk on the wild side with direct sales. Don't worry I never spam and only when I am asked about it do I mention the different things I do. My goal isn't spam but honest friendship. I have tons of different things I enjoy and now with the fact that the kids are grown and gone am learning a little more about me. I don't have a fascination with different countries but enjoy a good lesson so I guess anything goes :). I found this place while searching for penpals because that's something I enjoy to do. I thought Ireland would be neat because I was able to trace my family to Dublin Ireland in the year of 1610 . I used to collect post cards and haven't done that since I was maybe 8 or 9. I'm looking for people I can get to know well and perhaps establish a great friendship with.
