- I am a retired widow, looking for penpals from other countries around the world. I am unable to travel abroad, but would love to meet persons from other countries who wish to share their culture and country with me via email. My interests vary, but first and foremost after family are my dogs. I am not quite a hoarder... but I do have 5 all senior dogs. There are 2 cats in the mix also. I enjoy almost all music from classical to current styles. I have a keen interest in architecture from around the world. I am fortunate to live near one of the great Lakes here in the States and do spend much time there in the summer months. We have had a 2nd exceptional winter here, which I must say I am happy to be seeing going on it's way. I love the change of seasons, but this past winter has been a long one. I do garden some, but not as much as in previous years. I love food and altho' by far not a great cook, I do try many cuisines beyond the typical standard fare one thinks of when considering what Americans eat. I am game to try about anything in the food department. I guess that is about a rough outline of who I am and what I am interested in, if you would like to have a penpal from the US, do feel free to write.
